Wow February is almost over. I have not scraped a single 12 by 12 page this month. I how have ever have been keeping up with my project 52 and I have made four different albums using this great tutorial...from Dawns Inspirations
I was image surfing on Google, look at project life tags and found this great new site. Stuckonusketchesthey do sketches and project life challenges. Their current Project life Challenge is add embossing any type. The challenge runs from January 27- February 9 The actually challenge can be found here Stuck on Us Sketches
Here is my embossing challenge:
The snow brads were just pain gray, so I painted them white and then embossed them with a white glittery mix. I did not complete emboss them. I want them to have that fuzzy look so I only melted the embossing powder enough to stick.
I also in embossed the plain white tag and ink only the dry embossed elements. I really like how both turn out.

Create a layout based on this sketch by Kelly Holifield:
you must include items, colors, brands, etc. beginning with each of the letter of the word - PARTY. You must use a different item for each letter ( for example you CAN NOT use white cardstock to represent "w" and "c" as "w"hite & "c"ardstock).
S.W.A.T--Drill #23 One WORD for 2014 . and Challenge Yourself These challenges are to pick one word for 2014 and create one project to showcase that word. The project can be a layout, Art Journal pages, canvas or other altered project.
To make this projected I decided to use a new technique. So, I decided to try melting crayons. I really like how the heart turned out, next time I will not try to add white to the middle of the heart. I decided to make a rainbow heart with the definition of on my word for 2014 in the middle of the heart.
This is my son, Trace, the day he got his new car bed. He we so excited!

Project 52- I have decided to make a project 52 book this year. I want this book to be about my life and things I do weekly. I have set a few goals for this book. Frist, I want to use only items out of my stash to complete this book, with the exception of alphabets. (I am not sure I have enough to do a whole year.)
My second goal is to keep up with this project weekly. With that being said, I don't think I will be able to get the photos printed this week. It is currently below zero here in Ohio and is going to remain that way for a few days .I currently only have Monday mornings an Tuesday off from work and I do not want to take my son out in this cold weather for pictures. So, I guess I have to modify my goal to having a page designed done every week. Which I have done. I will post picture of my project 52 as soon as I have the photo's printed. I can however post a few pic of the tags I have made for two page spread.
